One Voice Choir-Ghana donates to James Camp Prison

The One Voice Choir-Ghana has donated assorted items including health products, drinks, and Christian literature to James Camp Prison in Accra. The donation followed the choir’s ‘Hymns in Worship’ musical event held in Accra.

The choir has carried out several initiatives this year, including ‘Youth In Focus’, a youth oriented seminar targeted at bringing youth from different backgrounds to be intellectually and informatively guided to stay focused on achieving their dreams and maintaining the God factor. The choir also introduced a humanitarian initiative dubbed OVC ‘Touch a life’. The first point of call was the James Camp Prison located at Roman Ridge, Accra. The choir joined the male inmates during service at church and shared encouraging words to them and performed soul-uplifting songs to them.

The choir expressed gratitude to Kinapharma Company Limited for providing health products, Healthy Life Company limited for the drinks, and the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church for the books with messages of hope, health and wellness to the inmates. The choir also donated other items.  ASP Comfort Ahiadzro received the choir heartily and entreated them to make their visit frequent.
