Amakom District Women’s Ministries supports the needy at Ntonso

Women’s Ministries of Amakom District of Seventh-day Adventists has presented a number of items to resource the needy at Ntonso in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti Region.

The items are three packs of washing powder, two sacks of salt, a box of matches, a carton of toilet roll, a bag of secondhand clothes, and 100 copies of evangelism books authored by Ellen G. White

36 of the beneficiaries of the items are Seventh-day Adventist residents at Ntonso while 31 others are non-church members at the same place.

According to the District Coordinator of the Women’s Ministries, Theresa Osei, as part of the plans of the ministries, it makes donation to the needy wherever the district would pitch tent for annual camp meeting.

She said it was necessary for the ministries to collaborate with the Ntonso church to know some needy persons and support them.

She said the ministries spent over 600 Ghana cedis on the items and also present a cash of 200 Ghana cedis to support mother of triplets whose babies have been detected of victimising hole-in-heart.
